Steve Rhynard of Tucson, Arizona Completes the Tucson Marathon

 

Steve Rhynard of Tucson, Arizona completes the Tucson Marathon.  Competing in his first marathon, Steve completed the course in 4 hours and 40 minutes.   After some difficult times prior to the December 2001 race, Steve made a commitment in August of 2001 to train and complete the marathon.   He dedicated the race to his wife Etta who had recently undergone two surgeries to remove a brain tumor. Steve is happy to report that Etta is doing well and is back to work full time.   Steve also dedicated his running the race to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who was by Etta and Steve through the tragedy they faced.  We give thanks to Him everyday for the time we have together.
