The 4th Annual Western Reunion

 

The 4th annual Western Rhynard Reunion was held Saturday, July 6th in Tri City Park, Placentia, California. The day was pretty and the weather quite comfortable. We gathered around 11 a.m., visited and played some ball.  We shared an enjoyable potluck under the trees at about 1 P.M. It was hi-lighted by fried chicken, furnished by the twins, Al & Ivan Rhynard, and ice cream made by Ruth Rhynard.  More ball playing and fellowshipping followed and we broke up middle to late afternoon. At a short business meeting, we voted to retain our present officers, Duane Rhynard, president and Kathy Henderson, secretary/treasurer.  We also planned to meet again next year, same place on July 5th, 2003. There were 25 people, representing 11 families and 3 generations, ranging in age from 14 months into the 70’s.  Bob, Katy and Samantha Rhynard and Amanda Wellcome traveled the greatest distance (400 miles) to attend.  A fun time was had by all. Hopefully many of you will be able to join us.  See you then!
